Now that the announcement is out, I can properly blog some of my encounters while on my motherhood journey. I guess there’ll be some throwback posts.
My journey really started when hubby and I were planning for a child. That included some research on baby-friendly lubricant. I stumbled on a couple of forum threads where these ladies were using quite a few abbreviations. It’s like this secret code that only mothers know how to use. *laughs*
Here are a few:
- TTC — Trying to conceive
- BFP — Big fat positive (meaning: You’ve hit jackpot!)
- BFN — Big fat negative (meaning: Please try again.)
- LO — Little one
- FTM — First-time mum
- SAHM — Stay-at-home mum
I guess there are more but these are the ones I’ve come across so far.
