What’s Inside My Diaper Clutch?

Let’s do something fun today — what’s inside my diaper clutch? I used to bring out a huge diaper bag when Emilee was a newborn. Now that I’m no longer breastfeeding and Emilee does only one to two poos a day, the stuff I bring out for her has downsized to just a clutch. Of course I still have to bring out additional items if she is having a milk feed outside or is likely to have more diaper changes. This is just the most basic of items to last a couple of hours.

I use a Ju.Ju,Be Be Quick as my diaper clutch. It’s the perfect size for everything to fit in.

  • 2 x diapers (1 x tape, 1 x pants)
I usually use tape diapers in the day but I know how difficult it is to find a baby changing room in certain places so the pants diaper is for such situations.
  • 1 x set of clothing (tee and shorts)
You never know when your baby/toddler decides to eat messily, do a poonami, pour water down himself/herself, etc.
  • 1 x handkerchief
  • 1 x thin changing mat
  • 1 x bib
I might remove this from my clutch soon as Emilee doesn’t really use bibs anymore.
  • 1 x packet of tissues
  • 1 x roll of plastic bags
This is the best hack I have ever come across. It was shared on one of the mummy groups I’m in. The roll of plastic bags is for dog poo but I feel it’s multi-purpose. Great for bagging soiled clothing or dirty diapers for disposal. You can get three rolls from Daiso or a couple of rolls (usually in 10s) on Taobao for cheap. The roll has 15 bags.
  • 1 x packet of wet wipes (not pictured)
Either a packet of Snapkis wet wipes or small packet of 20 wipes would fit nicely.

When everything is packed in, it looks like this.

What’s in your diaper clutch/bag?
